The Club provides programs that help youth create aspirations for the future, providing opportunities for career exploration and educational enhancement.

Power Hour / Kiwanis BUGS (Bring Up Grades) Program
This program enables Club members to develop the daily habit of completing homework and class preparation in a safe, quiet, dedicated space with staff and volunteer support. In addition to daily tutoring, Power Hour utilizes an incentive program to help members achieve academic success.

Writers Edge
The Writers Edge Program helps increase club members literacy and writing skills. With reading and writing activities, including community reader events, reading circles, topics of discussion, journal writing and book clubs, This program will also help club members to grow as a writer, then lighting a fire in their youth to love the written word. Members will grow to be more open minded about different topics and will improve their ability to communicate socially.

Project Learn
Project Learn high yield learning activities to reinforce academics in a fun environment and help youth apply what they learn in the classroom to practical, real-life situations. These activities, including academic games, independent reading, writing and group discussions, give members an opportunity to practice or develop skills and behaviors needed for success in school.

Career Launch (TEENS)
Using an online training program, Career Launch helps teen members develop necessary skills to enter the workforce. Members learn how to prepare a resume, complete job and college applications, learn interview techniques and research college and career opportunities.

Friday Flicks
Every Friday, youth members enjoy an afternoon showing of age- appropriate movies.
