Our 30th Annual Golf Tournament was a great success! After the weeks of heavy rain we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Let’s hope it’s a sign of good days to come for our Club kids. All of the money raised at the golf tournament, a net of $105,000, helped support approximately five of the eight weeks of this year’s summer youth programs. Because of the financial support of hundreds of area businesses, we were able to offer a brighter summer to thousands of youth and teens. During the summer months, the Club provides educational and recreational opportunities to over 400 boys and girls daily at the George A. Demoulas Club house at 657 Middlesex Street. Safety is the number one priority for the summer! Mark your calendar for Monday, June 7, 2010 and join us for next year’s 31st Annual Golf Tournament to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell, Inc.
