In order to enroll in the Club, you must be between the ages of 7 and 18. All potential members must attend new member orientation prior to enrolling at the Club. Orientation is held every other Tuesday at 6:00pm.
Here's how to become a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell:
- Attend Orientation (with a parent or guardian if you are under the age of 18).
Orientation is held every other Tuesday night at 6:00 pm, Beginning July 1, 2008
- Complete the membership application form at Orientation
- Pay the membership fee at Orientation
- You will be allowed to come to the Club the day after your orientation is completed.
The membership fee for the school year is $26. No child is turned away due to inability to pay – scholarships are offered to children who could not otherwise afford membership. Contact the office to discuss scholarship/payment plan options.
Club members must have their club card to enter the building. Lost cards may be replaced for a $5 fee.
The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell operates on an open door policy. This means there is supervision in the Club only! Members who leave the building or are caught wandering outside the building will be given a two day suspension. We encourage parents to speak with their children regarding this policy.
A late fee will be charged to parents that are late picking up their children. Parents will be charged $5 for every 20 minutes they are late picking up their child(ren). Members will not be allowed to return to the Club until the fee is paid.
In order to provide a safe environment for all members, parents and visitors are required to check in at the front desk when picking up their child. Parents and visitors
must remain in the waiting area during afternoon pick up.
